When are we ever going to get a real tax cut?

The more money taken out of my check, the more I am sickened by the bloating of goverments.
Do I really need to pay $8.00 a year TAX to own my dog? NO! Why don't they have a discount for
those who use less? My trash bill (TAX) must be paid if I produce trash or not. My income tax is
taken from me if I owe it or not. My property tax is arbitrated by someone else. The only tax that
I can control is my spending tax ( to gas up or not to gas up, buy or don't buy). Like that tax is
something that I can control.

Why do we allow others to tax, double tax, triple tax and then tax us when we retire? How can
we get relief? Politicians won't listen to us. If they did they would loose their career and we all
know how important their career is to our well being. As if we couldn't tie our shoes without
them. I vaguely remember doing it as a child. But my parents were then under the power of the
all important political leaders.
